Impact Church in Jacksonville, Florida is a thriving, Bible-teaching ministry of over 4,000 members of all ages.  We’re on a mission to make a profound impact on the city, state, nation, and world by sharing the relentless love of Jesus Christ.  With multiple Florida campuses, a growing online church, and several churches established along the East Coast and Texas, as well as in Peru, we have the great opportunity to touch the lives of many families and children.


We are currently seeking an exceptional full-time Children’s Minister to assume the mantle of leadership in assisting our families raise up children who love Jesus and model Him in their community.


Responsibilities of the Children’s Minister include:

  • Communicating vision to all constituents for the Impact Kids ministry, in line with the overall vision for Impact Church
  • Maintaining a culture of love and care for the children, their families, volunteers, and staff
  • Planning activities for children and families that promote spiritual, physical, and social development
  • Developing a robust, healthy volunteer team by recruiting, coaching, training, empowering, and praying for team members
  • Ensuring biblically sound, effective instruction of the children via curriculum selection and oversight
  • Assuring excellence of the Impact Kids environment, as represented by safety, cleanliness, order, décor, and signage
  • Developing and maintain meaningful communication with parents, volunteers, and staff
  • Managing the Impact Kids departmental budget
  • Reporting to the Campus Pastor



  • A passionate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Spirit-filled
  • Demonstrated proficiency and passion for leading and inspiring children
  • Proven proficiency leading and motivating a volunteer staff
  • A degree from a recognized ministry school is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with emphasis on child development
  • At least 5 years of experience in full time leadership in children’s ministry
